about
Craft Hope is a love inspired project designed to share handmade crafts with those who need them. It is our hope to combine our love for crafting and desire to help others into a project to make a difference around the world.
Jade Sims is the founder of Craft Hope. She is the mother of three and spends her days running Craft Hope from her laptop and making a mess with her children in the Hill Country just outside of Austin, Texas.
As the saying goes ‘it takes a village’ and Craft Hope is run by many talented crafters. There is no possible way that Jade can run this alone and her crafty friends step up just when she needs them. Always volunteering to run a project, reply to emails, and accept donations this community is ready and willing to step in and lend support! By the way, why am I talking in the third person? Okay, carry on…
Sarah Jackson stepped up just in the nick of time to run the Craft Hope for Haiti Etsy shop. Relentlessly managing donations to benefit Doctors Without Borders in Haiti. Little does she know it, she’s now a full time employee.
Marjorie Dolley jumped right in and took over Project 4, collecting sock monkeys for a preschool burn camp. Her house was overrun with sock monkeys. She continues to add support to the Craft Hope team.
Miles Sims, our technical support and Jade’s husband, is responsible for all of the web design on the Craft Hope site. He’s a social networking genius that continues to expand Craft Hope’s reach.
