Hi, howdy, and hello! The November 15th deadline for the quilts is quickly approaching. And I am amazed by what is coming in. They are beautiful, each one a work of art. What I like the most about a quilt is that you get a glimpse into your lives. Each fabric selected. The quilting style preferred. All of it just ties together beautifully. So far we have received 137 quilts!

Word is getting around about Craft Hope and huge thank you to those of you who have blogged about your participation and even put our button in your sidebar. This is one rockin’ community and I feel honored to be a part of it. There are some major things in the works for you and Craft Hope that we’ll let you in on shortly.
For those of you who have started groups, keep on doing your thing and taking it to the next level. To those of you who are crafting in the wee hours of the night or baby nap times, you amaze me. To all of you, as long as you are willing we’ll keep the projects and charities coming to you. There definitely is enough need in this big world of ours. And we are making a difference.
It was brought to my attention by the very sweet Dana of Made that Craft Hope was featured right alongside her in the October issue of Sew Magazine, available in the United Kingdom. And let me just tell you that this is not the last you’ll see of the relationship between Dana and Craft Hope. Oh there is so much more to come my friends. I know, I’m such a tease but sworn to secrecy!

I am so glad that you are getting so much positive press! I once again have failed to produce a quilt – sewing in large scale (i.e. that requires a machine) is just not my thing and I committed to a craft fair (my first) but in return for my inability to complete a quilt I will produce a baby blankie to raise some money somehow for a children’s charity here in the UK…..I will do that at the craft fair on the 14th – so hopefully in my own way I’ll make a difference during this project too! I’ll let you know how I do!
Good luck with all the quilts coming in and I can’t wait to hear all the good news and to participate in another Craft Hope project!
Hey Di! The next project is right up your alley! Please keep me posted on the baby blankie. What a wonderful way to spread the love. You are amazing!
hello! i’d like to contribute a quilt. where should i mail it?
I’m honored to be associated with Craft Hope in any shape or form possible! It was such a treat to find you next to me on the page.
Has anyone told you just HOW AMAZING you are today!? You are such an incredible person and I am so blessed to call you my sister.

I am about to quilt and bind my quilt! Then it will be of to you!
I have my quilt ready, please send me the US address to mail the quilt in. Love, Cheryl Joy
Hi,
My crafty friends and I have finished two quilt tops. Please let me know where you would like us to send them.
Also, we have a quick question. We’re newbie quilers and aren’t equipped to finish the quilts. Should we send material for binding and backing along with the quilts? Should we send batting, too?
We love Craft Hope and look forward to the next project.

I just wanted to let you know that your idea for CraftHope is fabulous and something that has been on my heart for a long time. I’ve participated with a lot of local giving projects but you have taken it to another level. I haven’t had the chance to complete a project for you yet but I’ve followed your progress and am amazed and humbled. Your work at CraftHope is truly blessing many all over the world for those giving and receiving. Stacy
Going to make my quilt tomorrow! Please send me instructions on where to mail it when finished…thanks!
Hi,
My quilt is ready to go, but despite leaving a comment on the first post, I haven’t been sent the postal address. Please can you send it to me asap? I’m in London, and am concerned that my quilt won’t get to you in time!

Unfortunately I can’t quilt at all. I hope to one day be able to but don’t think this is the time to give it a try. I will be anticipating your next project and praying it is something I can participate. This is such a fantastic idea I wish I could take part in all the projects.

Congrats on being featured in the magazine! That is so awesome!
My quilt is coming… I should be sending it this week sometime. Been busy with my son’s birthday!

Hi
I am almost done with my quilt, can you send me the U.S. address to send it to? I am so happy to be a part of this.
Thanks

Please send me the US address to send my quilt. Thanks, for all you do. Cheryl
if you are sent the address, please can you send it to me too?
I have finished mine, and would like the US address please.
Thanks again for the opportunity to help someone in need.
Hello! I requested the U.S. address last week but have yet to receive it. Would you mind sending it my way so I can get my quilt to you before the deadline? Thanks!
Wow – congrats for the coverage in Made – that’s fabulous! I have been following you guys for about 6 months now since launching my own project, A Cause for Hope. Great work you all are doing!
PLEASE send me the address for US quilts. I have mine all ready to go but can’t get the address here or on the board. I want to get this to you before the 15th!
I sent my quilt yesterday viz UPS and they estimated it would arrive on Monday. I know the deadline is the 15th, but arriving on the 16th still will make the deadline won’t it?
So good to share ideas and the word is certainly spreading. I have just come back from Savannah and met several people who were interested in Crafts. I passed on your blog details and they promised to have a look and get some ideas for themselves.
Thanks so much.
