thank you
It’s difficult not to start off every blog post with THANK YOU. We are all so very appreciative to those of you who are making a quilt or many quilts. Taking time out of your already busy day to help a child. Time and again you all step up to a challenge and exceed our expectations. We are once again humbled and in awe of your willingness to help others. Thank you.
The quilts have started coming in and they are incredible. If you need some direction as to which type of quilt to make, think boy. We are quite positive that we will receive many girly quilts so if you are so inclined, please make a quilt for a boy older than 10 years old. There are many older boys that need a special quilt.
If you have left a comment and not received a reply from me, as of today, please leave another comment here on this post. Most of the time I am replying and sending out emails one handed, having the other hand to hold my sweet-doesn’t-ever-want-to-be-put-down baby. I sincerely apologize if I haven’t replied to any of you.
Keep spreading those seeds of hope, one child at a time.

I haven’t received a reply. I also haven’t yet started my quilt, so I’ll keep older boys in mind now as I do.

…for boy? Terrific! My two bandana quilts are boy-friendly – glad to say. Thank you again, Jade, for helping all of us find creative ways to be helpful!!!

I need the US address, please. I am almost done with the top and I can’t wait to do the actual quilting. This is my first quilt ever and for a while I was thinking cutting and sewing all these squares was kind of insane, but the cause has kept me going and now I am having lots of fun and really enjoying the whole process. I wish I had more time to make more!

I have made my quilt top, but as a non-quilter, I find that I might be over my head a bit for quilting and binding. I’m afraid I may be one of those just sending you a top. It is patterned from the take-along quilt pattern.

Can I get the addresses please? And if I find Canadians who’d like to help later, can they send them as well? Even if they’re late? Thanks.

U.S. address please. I’m not sure it is going to get there by the 15th since that is a Sunday. :S
