With just under three weeks until the Project 3 :: Casa Bernabe Orphanage deadline, dolls are coming in daily.

Many of you are emailing and asking if there is still need. We currently have sixty two dolls in our possession, with over three hundred women signed up to make dolls. Boxes of dolls are coming in daily. The need at that specific orphanage has been met, but we will find homes for all of the dolls in Nicaragua. If you think you can make and mail the dolls by June 13th, by all means do it. If you are feeling led to participate in this project, by all means do it. If you’d like to hold off and wait for Project 3, we will announce that on June 14th.

Look at all of the beautiful dolls and doll quilts. Thanks to all of you for spreading hope to these children. You are incredible women.

WOW!! This is amazing. seriously.
And they are so cute!
If you don’t want to post Project 3 yet, could you leak it to me in an email? I won’t tell! I have just started to make a doll, but considering that my daughter, mother-in-law and I all have birthdays between now and the due date, I think it would be more sane for me to wait until the next one. IF it’s something I can do–I’m not so good at sewing yet! Please let me know.
This is so wonderful! I am subscribing to your blog so I can get info right away from now on. I have a couple half-made dolls that I can finish in time to send them. I love this – thanks for giving us a way to help out!
Hi! I have my dolls finished…just needing an address to send them to!
Let me know when you can, and thanks for doing this. I am so excited to be a part!
they are so adorable! I love them!!!
May I sign up, too? I know you’ve already gotten plenty of beautiful dolls, but I’d love to contribute to this project. Thanks for all you’re doing with all these projects! It’s amazing stuff! mccainmaryAThotmailDOTcom
My little girl and I just finished a doll. She’s almost three so she helped by passing me pieces and deciding things like whether the eyes would be open or closed:) I love what you’re doing, HUGS! Please send an address and hopefully she will be in the mail tomorrow!
I finished my doll. It doesn’t look like any of these beautiful dolls since I don’t really sew. However, I made mine with lots of love. It will be mailed this week. I have posted a picture of the doll in my blog. Hopefully, the child who receives it will like it.
YAY!!! I am so excited you are receiving so many dolls. I have three I am going to ship out on Monday (June 8th). The dolls are for one girl and two boys. Hopefully you can find a home for them or keep them for a future project!! Love what you are doing!!! :0)
The dolls are beautiful! I’m *hoping* to have mine done to send off on Monday. Could I have the shipping address when you have a chance? Thanks so much!
I’m finished with the doll but don’t know where to send it! Please email the address for me! Thanks…we enjoyed the project and are anxious for Project #3!!!
