I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am feeling for all of you that helped out with the first project. It all started as a little idea with the thought that someone out there might want to help. Well, a lot of someones answered my call and stepped up to the challenge. To spread a little handmade love for kids that might not ever receive such a gift in their lifetime. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for taking the time to make such beautiful clothes.

The dresses/tops/shorts have officially left Austin and are now on their way to the Pan de Vida Children’s Shelter in Mexico. There were 27 dresses/tops! Twenty seven. 2. 7. Also, there were four pairs of shorts. I was hoping for maybe five dresses and I would probably make four of them. But you all stepped in and made a huge difference. Thank you so much.

I packaged them up in a vintage Samsonite suitcase and off they went. Prayers for the group going to the shelter for safe travels.
I put in a request to try and get pictures of the girls in their dresses. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this will happen. I truly hope I can show you all exactly where your dresses went.
Update: Photos were taken of the girls in their dresses. I will share them as soon as I receive them!
‘Tis the season for spring dresses. Project 2 is in the works!

Yay!!! I am so excited to see them on their way. I just hope and pray the dress I make fits a 12 year old!! It should, but I had to kind of wing it. I can’t wait to see what the next project will be. Your doing a great thing and I am so happy to be involved! I think any little thing we can do can only make a difference no matter how big or small we think it will be.
